Terms of Use
1. Parties and Acceptance
These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern the relationship between users (“you”) and the Yanvo mobile application (the “App”), operated by Sergen Baş (“Yanvo”, “we”). By downloading and using the App you accept these Terms.
2. Description of the Service
Yanvo matches users for short voice calls without them sharing identifying information (no real name, no photo — only a username):
- A match candidate is proposed; a call begins only when both sides explicitly accept.
- The first call lasts 60 seconds; if both sides choose to continue, it can be extended to a total of at most 3 minutes.
- Calls are never recorded.
3. Age Limit
Yanvo is for users who are 18 or older only. The date of birth you enter at registration is used for this check. If you are under 18 you may not use the App.
4. Your Account
- Your account is created through the Firebase Authentication mechanism called “anonymous sign-in”, using a random user identifier (UID) specific to your device; you are never asked for identifying information beyond a username. You may link the account to a Google or Apple account so your profile survives a device change or a reinstall. See the Privacy Policy, Section 3.1.
- Your username must be unique, must not be objectionable, and must not infringe anyone else’s rights.
- You are responsible for the security of your account and for access to your device.
5. Rules of Use and Zero-Tolerance Policy
There is no “just once” version of any of the behaviour below. When a violation is confirmed, the call is ended and the account is suspended or permanently closed; serious violations may result in a device-level ban (see Section 6).
While using Yanvo you may not engage in:
- Harassment and bullying — disturbing, demeaning, humiliating or persistently bothering another user.
- Threats and violence — threatening violence against any person, or praising or encouraging violence.
- Hate speech — targeting a person or a group because of race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or any comparable characteristic.
- Sexual harassment and objectionable sexual content — non-consensual sexual talk, sexual coercion, obscene content, or advertising adult services.
- Any behaviour that endangers a child — contacting anyone under 18, or any content, conduct or suggestion relating to child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). See the Safety and Community Guidelines, Section 2.
- Fraud and impersonation — investment, crypto, betting or “easy money” promotion; requesting money; posing as another person, an organisation, or a Yanvo representative.
- Disclosure of personal information — attempting to identify, expose or share another user’s identity without their consent. Sharing your own phone number, e-mail address, link or social media account in your profile text is blocked as well.
- Illegal activity — promoting, selling or soliciting drugs, weapons, stolen data or any other illegal goods or services; advertising and spam.
If you encounter a user you know, or reasonably should know, to be under 18, you must end the call and report them under the “Suspected underage user” category.
Breaching these rules is subject to the enforcement described in Section 6.
6. Reporting, Blocking and Moderation
- Every user can be reported and blocked. Report and Block are reachable during an active call, on the call-ended screen, and from your recent calls list. You will never be matched with someone you blocked again, and they are removed from your visible history.
- Reports are reviewed within 24 hours at the latest. Every report is stored with a 24-hour review deadline at the moment it is filed, and enters our safety team’s queue ordered by that deadline.
- When a violation is confirmed, the violating content is removed and the offending user is ejected from the platform. Possible sanctions: immediate termination of the call, a warning, a temporary suspension (a period during which the account cannot match), or permanent closure of the account.
- Serious violations may result in a device-level ban. Attempting to evade a ban by creating a new account is itself a separate violation.
- A permanent closure is always decided by a human administrator — it is never fully automatic.
- Yanvo reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account for reasonable cause.

7. Weekly Wheel and Leave a Trace
- The Weekly Wheel is a chance-based reward available once a week (extra talk time, an extra Leave a Trace, or short-term Yanvo Plus). Rewards are validated server-side.
- Leave a Trace lets you express interest in reconnecting after a call; a rematch happens only if both sides leave a trace. Your daily allowance depends on your account type.
- You may optionally watch a rewarded ad for extra talk time; this is limited to a set number of times per period.
8. Yanvo Plus (Paid Subscription)
- Yanvo Plus is an optional, paid tier that removes the daily talk-time limit and adds a province-based match filter.
- Monthly and yearly plans renew automatically through app store billing unless you cancel.
- The price is the one shown in the store at the time of purchase.
- You can cancel at any time from your store subscription settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Refunds are subject to the store’s refund policy; Yanvo never processes or stores your payment details directly.
- You can restore purchases on another device signed in with the same account using Restore Purchases.
9. Intellectual Property
The design, software, brand name and logo of the App belong to Sergen Baş. You retain ownership of the text you submit through the App (bio, interests, report notes and similar), while granting us permission to process it to the extent necessary to operate the App.
10. Limitation of Liability
- Yanvo is not responsible for the content of calls between users. Yanvo cannot be held liable for harm caused by the conduct of other users; please report suspicious or disturbing behaviour.
- The App is provided “as is”; it is not guaranteed to run uninterrupted or error-free.
11. Changes to and Termination of the Service
Yanvo reserves the right to change or update the features of the App, or to discontinue the service. We will try to give reasonable advance notice of significant changes.
12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Jurisdiction in disputes is determined under the general rules of Turkish law.
